I love working on the weekends in the shop. We have M.j, myself, music, and the whole shop to spread tools/materials and get some work done.

Santa Fe

So I actually went on my first real trip to see some art down in Santa Fe, NM with my good friend Karl Merkline. I seen a lot of overpriced, bad sculptures which makes me think I  should go down with some of my art and show them what the hell is up. Make some damn money finally. There was a few good pieces as well. We covered so much ground in four days. We seen petroglyphs, climbed masons and mountains, smoked a cigarette at 12,000 feet, learned a lot about Pueblo culture, and all kinds of other things. I was really fortunate to have friends like Karl and his wife Miranda to take the time to have me.Thanks for the amazing time. Here are some pics of the trip. I will also include my new sculpture when I go buy my camera tomorrow or the next day.

Art thus Far

Week 1

Week one went pretty good. Got a good jump on a new sculpture with metal as a medium. In ceramic class I got started on a little over three foot pot. Also in ceramics, a couple of lidded forms were made.
